Here we spend the night at a motorway service station in order to get on early in the morning.

It's surprising how many travelers stay here. From truck drivers with their trucks, caravans, mobile homes and vans and oh normal cars with the seats folded down.

We use the service area and treat ourselves to a pizza.

The next morning the weather is still bad. It's raining and the weather forecast says no improvement.

Anyway, we're going towards the sun.

after the long drive we finally want to see Florence. So get on the bus, we think the payment will be fine. You can't pay for puff cakes on the bus and there isn't a tobacco shop, so we dodge the fare and try to buy the ticket online with the help of locals. we fail

The first impression is fantastic. We stroll through the city and are speechless how beautiful it is here.

Auf gehts nach Pisa

Pisa who wouldn't want to see the leaning tower.

The city a total disappointment. The campsite we chose was a mud desert so that we had to be pulled out of the mud with an excavator.

Unfortunately, Pisa is only a stage destination for us with an overnight stay. It's not worth it.

Cinque Terre, Campingplatz Albero D'Oro in Levante

Every vacationer in Italy tells about it. They have to be great villages and we want to see them.

We are looking for a CP in Levante that will serve as our base. Many legends Cinque Terre can be done in one day. But we're on vacation and don't want to be rushed.

The small family-run CP is awesome, a super friendly owner who shows us everything in advance. The pitches are not the largest but sufficient. We decide to stay outside anyway. We don't want such an experience again in Pisa.

Wir besuchen zuerst Riomaggiore, Manarola und Corniglia

after a quiet night we set out to visit these lovely villages. Bought a Clique Terre card for two days walking to the train station and off we went.

By train along the wildly romantic coast of the Italian Riviera.

The fishing boats are in the shopping streets and have to be let into the sea every day. The Sentiero Azzurro hiking trail connects these great villages and offers unrivaled panoramic views over the sea.

We take two days to visit these beautiful places.

A great stage place with lots of shopping because there is a good infrastructure around the outlet.

This place is particularly suitable for children, as the outlet offers a children's aqua park here.
