After entering Norway and a short refueling stop, it's off to Grimsdalvegen. We decided to spend the night there because of the beautiful landscape.

In changeable weather (our first day without air conditioning) we drive to the viewpoint Snøhetta. It is a short hike from the parking lot to Snøhetta.

The last glacier of our tour is also the southernmost one in Norway, Folgefonna Glacier. The approach was also a real highlight, finally a road without disturbing crash barriers.

We were happy to drive the old mountain roads without much traffic, unfortunately (due to a tunnel construction site) all traffic was routed over it.

Ganz tolle Bilder und Reise!! Wir als Skandinavien und Wohnmobil-Neulinge würden gerne auch so eine Reise machen - mit ruhigen Plätzen und viel wandern mit unseren beiden Hunden.
Frage: welche Fähre habt ihr genutzt von wo nach wo - und ist es empfehlenswert?
Wir nutzen immer nur die kurzen Fähren, Rostock - Gedser (<2h) oder Puttgarden - Rødby (45min). Da darf unsere Fellnase mit nach oben und muss nicht im Auto auf dem lauten Fahrzeugdeck bleiben.
Ganz tolle Bilder. Wir waren auf ähnlicher Route in 2010 und schwärmen heute noch. Danke für den Bericht, das macht uns Laune evtl. nächstes Jahr noch einmal nach Norwegen zu fahren.
Hallo Conny, vielen Dank für dein Lob. Wir hatten echt riesen Glück mit dem Wetter, in drei Wochen nur 2 Tage Regen. Die Registrierung von Luna 🐾 für Schweden haben wir einen Tag vor der Einreise online erledigt. Für Norwegen nutzen wir seit vielen Jahren die 28 Tage Regelung, somit gibt's auch bei mehrfachem Grenzwechsel keine Probleme. Zu unserer Überraschung gab es am Grenzübergang (von Idre nach Norwegen) keinen besetzten Grenzposten. Wenn der Posten besetzt ist gehst einfach mit dem Haustierpass rein. Da wird dann geschaut ob das Vakzin zugelassen ist und das Datum stimmt. Wunderschöne Fotos und interessante Strecken, die ihr gefahren seid. Vieles davon kennen wir von Reisen in den letzten 20 Jahren.
Ihr habt ja Glück mit dem Wetter gehabt. Wir waren im August in Südnorwegen unterwegs und hatten so viel Regen wie schon lange nicht mehr. Immerhin gab es deshalb wundervolle Wasserfälle.
Ihr seid mit Hund unterwegs. Was habt ihr an den Grenzübergängen gemacht? Für die Einreise nach Schweden ist die Registrierung erforderlich und für Norwegen eine Wurmkur. Habt ihr euch nach Idre irgendwo in Norwegen gemeldet? Wir haben jetzt auch einen Hund und sind auf der Suche nach verlässlichen Informationen.
