Peloponnese April 2022, or: sometimes goals change....

Travelogue

Today we take the ship to Venice. We roam the city in the footsteps of Inspector Brunetti. But alas, then the wallet with all the papers, the return tickets for the vaporetto and cash is gone. Today we only had one wallet with us! After reporting the theft to the Carabinieri, we have to take care of the return trip to Cavallino. In the Hotel Metropole we find a hotel manager who arranges the return trip for us directly with the ship's crew and that's how we reach our camper again.

First we drive to the ferry terminal in Ancona to clarify whether we can travel to Greece without an identity card. Unfortunately that is not possible and so we have to change the planned trip now. First we drive further south and in Porto San Giorgio we find a parking space "La Perla Dell Adriatico" that has just been opened, where we are greeted very friendly.
In the evening we decide to resume our trip to Sicily, which was canceled in March 2020 due to Corona.
