The High Coast region has two landmarks: the Skuleberg in the north and the High Coast Bridge in the south. The mighty and beautiful bridge is considered Sweden's Golden Gate Bridge. It spans the Ångermanälven delta. If you are traveling on the E4 between Härnösand and Kramfors/Örnsköldsvik, you should definitely take an hour's break at the bridge. The view is breathtaking, especially when the weather is great.

Very nice campsite from the First Camp chain. Offers entertainment options for children like hotels do, from kids club to mini disco and show in the evening. Probably a bit slimmed down at the moment due to Corona, but still very nice. In addition to an 18-hole mini golf course, a high ropes course, a rental of Tretgogarts, a playground and two bouncy cushions, the complex also offers a beautiful beach, a sauna and a canoe rental. The place is very well maintained and has several sanitary buildings. Right next to it is a large and very beautiful iron museum of the Luleå-Narvik ore railway line.

Nice place to stay overnight for caravans. Next to Santas Village (3 minutes walk). Clean toilets, honestly could have more but is it what it is? They have a sauna, a good hiking trail next to the place. Overall, great value for money despite being fairly “close” to the main road. You hardly hear any car noises.

The Vøringsfossen is one of the most famous sights in Norway. At perhaps the most famous waterfall in Norway, huge masses of water cascade 182 metres down from the Hardangervidda plateau into the Måbødalen valley. The longest free fall of this impressive waterfall is an impressive 145 metres.
The area around the Vøringsfossen waterfall, which is one of the attractions along the Norwegian Scenic Route Hardangervidda, has been steadily improved and expanded in recent years. In August 2020, the attraction's newest highlight was opened: a spectacular bridge over the waterfall! The bridge has a span of 47 meters and 99 steps. The stair bridge, together with new paths and a viewing point, marks the end of the second construction phase of the expansion of the Vøringsfossen, led by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. The first construction phase was completed in 2018 with viewing platforms, paths, a security fence, parking spaces and a service building below the Fossli Hotel.
MåbødalenIt is also possible to see the waterfall from the valley floor. Måbødalen is an extremely narrow, steep and magnificent valley that stretches from Eidfjord up to the Hardangervidda. In the past, several paths led through Måbødalen, and in the years after 1780, 1300 stone steps were laid to make the journey easier.
The road from Måbødalen up to Fossli was completed in 1916, and this road is still accessible on foot or by bike. The current road through the valley has several tunnels, but there are also some great stops and viewpoints. From the current road, the walk down to the waterfall takes 30 minutes.

Was würdest du weg lassen oder dazufügen.
