In Vigsø behind the dunes an impressive stretch of beach awaited us.
In 1971 even the Olsen Gang knew how to use this spectacular place for themselves.
Half swallowed by the sand, the bunkers lie like stranded seals on the beach.

There are several motorhome parking spaces, but all cost around DKK 140 / € 20, some with toilet / showers and others only with toilet.
Mostly there is a fish and salt smell in the air -> fishing port ;-)

Spent last night on Rømø.
Of course I visited "Den gamle skole i Toftum" (Denmark's smallest oldest school) and then unfortunately we went back to Germany.

Of course I visited "Den gamle skole i Toftum" (Denmark's smallest oldest school) and then unfortunately we went back to Germany.
Made a detour to Glückstadt on the way home.
As far as Corona is concerned, we had no problems in Denmark - the border control at Flensburg carried out random checks and within the country you should adhere to the distance rules and hygiene regulations.
All in all, it was an interesting round trip across mainland Denmark
Wide, endless landscapes and fields - wonderful rough seas on both sides - beautiful little towns with white churches and red brick houses.
Made a detour to Glückstadt on the way home.
As far as Corona is concerned, we had no problems in Denmark - the border control at Flensburg carried out random checks and within the country you should adhere to the distance rules and hygiene regulations.
All in all, it was an interesting round trip across mainland Denmark
