Short trip summer 2024

Travelogue
Very nice place with good and practical infrastructure. Spacious, large plots, many in the shade. Most of the pitches are on grass, recommended for shorter and longer stays.
The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but clean.

Small campsite outside of The Hague. Very friendly hosts, nice pitches and well laid out. The sanitary facilities are quite old, but they are clean and perfectly adequate. Without a bike you are a bit stuck, the nearest tram station is about a 25-minute walk away. Line 16 takes you directly to the 'Den Haag HS' train station in about 20 minutes, from there you can take the 1 or 9 to the city or the beach in just a few minutes.
The free Wi-Fi is very slow and potentially dangerous because you can see all the devices that are logged on and with a little skill you can even access them.
Since we don't have any bikes with us, we wouldn't choose this place again, but all in all it was perfectly fine.

Beautiful site located in a wine-growing region. It is mainly used by permanent campers, but there are also a few tourist sites. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant 'Klause zur Burgwiese' on site is very good and inexpensive.
There are many paths for walking the dog right next to the campsite, otherwise it is a bit 'lost'. You can feel that the village was affected by the floods in 2021, there are some abandoned buildings in the lower part of the village. Particularly impressive: you can see how high the water was on the walls of the buildings.
The infrastructure, especially the sanitary facilities, are very old. Adequate and acceptable for one night, we would not consider a longer stay, although the area would be ideal for beautiful hikes. However, the site is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are clean. The small pool can be used to cool off.
At least two 50 cent pieces are needed for showering (4 minutes of showering). The price for the site is rather high - we paid 50 euros for a motorhome, 3 people and a dog, plus an extra charge for showering.
