The winter break for the planting campaigns organized by the Wohnmobil für Klimaschutz e.V. (Motorhome for Climate Protection Association) is over.
We're participating in two campaigns near Uchte and Wernigerode. The association is donating a few thousand trees, and we're helping plant them.
In between campaigns, we're exploring the Harz Mountains on our 13-day tour.

Saunatag in der Kristalltherme Altenau
In the morning we went to the thermal baths with Elmo and then spent the night at the old train station again.
The RV parking spaces at the thermal baths are extremely slanted. Pretty unnecessary.
However, the gravel parking lot could certainly have been used for a couple of nights. The greywater disposal was just as cleverly designed as the parking spaces. It's actually only possible with a bucket or hose.
The thermal spa itself is highly recommended. During our visit, it was not very busy. The saunas were lovely and the saltwater pools were at a comfortable temperature. The food was good and reasonably priced. There were plenty of places to relax. The relatively new facility was clean and well-maintained.
