The campsite is located just above Siena. The old town has excellent bus connections, and bus tickets can be purchased at the campsite. We stayed here for two nights and had plenty of time to explore Siena.
The site is clean and mostly beautifully landscaped. The RV section is a bit more sparse but clean, and there's a washroom nearby.

Hiking in the Crete Senesi was our goal. The landscape is beautiful, and we were able to enjoy a longer hike. There are several signposted trails.

There's a motorhome parking area below town. We were able to get a spot even after 5 p.m. Some of the electrical boxes are broken.
