Dangstetten over the Flüela Pass and Reschen Pass to Istria-Rovinj

We actually wanted to drive our 1st stage to Lake Garda via Baden, Chiasso, Milan. In Baden in Switzerland, Inge suddenly wanted to drive over the Fluela and Reschen passes because this route was nicer. Since I agree with that in principle, we changed our plans and reprogrammed the navigation system.

The GPS then took us in the direction of St Gallen and we made a detour. Instead of past Lake Zurich, the navigation system took us along Lake Constance in the direction of St. Margarethen and then to Davos.

When we finally arrived in Davos around noon, we were happy and happy to finally be back on the well-known route.

Once again we were thrilled and impressed by the great landscape around the Fluela Pass.

The wonderful landscape up to the Reschenpass and then in the Vinschgau compensated us for the significantly longer journey.

When we arrived in Graun in the late afternoon, it was high time for a meal. Since the parking space was jam-packed, we continued towards Lake Garda.

Unfortunately, traffic from Merano and Bolzano increased significantly. 30 km before Lazise there was a traffic jam and it took us over an hour for the last 10 km. After a total of 11 hours of driving, we finally arrived at the pitch in Lazise-Cola. Unfortunately, I had swollen feet from the long drive and the accumulated water has not yet completely drained out.
SP is ideal as a place to stay. We have always found a place here and we will definitely use it again and again.

Camp Ulika is a really great, small, family-run mini campground with 39 pitches. Rovinj is about 3 km away and can be reached via a well-developed cycle path.
