Easter holidays - via South Tyrol to Lake Garda

We start our Easter tour in Neu-Ulm. Our first stop is Innsbruck.
Our goal there this year was the camper place at the Innrain. We have been there many times, but this time was definitely the last time. On the one hand, the price has been increased to 22 euros, which I find quite expensive without the existing mobile home infrastructure. What then happened to us was very outrageous. Presumably due to a defect, only the receipt came out of the parking ticket machine, but no parking ticket. We didn't think anything of it, since we had the receipt and proof on our account (EC payment). The next morning, a very unfriendly lady checked us and, despite the evidence, issued us a 35.00 euro ticket and accused us of having given the original parking ticket to another parker, completely absurd! So be careful, otherwise parking will be expensive. We'll try next time at the swimming pool in Innsbruck.
Otherwise Innsbruck was very nice again. For dinner we went to the "sitzwohl" we've been there many times, it's always very tasty and definitely recommendable.

We spend our second day of vacation in Meran, at the Live Merano campsite in Piavestrasse. The campsite is very centrally located and has absolutely great washrooms, all designed like private bathrooms.
From there you can easily reach the center and the thermal baths on foot.
We had dinner in the "Kallmünz", a very nice restaurant with a beautiful inner courtyard, upscale, very tasty cuisine.
We spend our second day of vacation in Meran, at the Live Merano campsite in Piavestrasse. The campsite is very centrally located and has absolutely great washrooms, all designed like private bathrooms.
From there you can easily reach the center and the thermal baths on foot.
We had dinner in the "Kallmünz", a very nice restaurant with a beautiful inner courtyard, upscale, very tasty cuisine.
We spend the Easter weekend at the La Rocca campsite, located exactly between Garda and Bardolino. Both places are easy to reach after a walk along the lake (Bardolino 1.5 km, Garda 1 km).
Here the season has just started and is already experiencing its high point with the Easter weekend. It is very difficult to find a parking space at the lake without a reservation.
From the site it is only a few meters to the lake, unfortunately it is still too cold for swimming or SUP. Going for walks, bike tours, or strolling through the town and enjoying the spring weather also puts you in a good mood.
We spend the Easter weekend at the La Rocca campsite, located exactly between Garda and Bardolino. Both places are easy to reach after a walk along the lake (Bardolino 1.5 km, Garda 1 km).
Here the season has just started and is already experiencing its high point with the Easter weekend. It is very difficult to find a parking space at the lake without a reservation.
From the site it is only a few meters to the lake, unfortunately it is still too cold for swimming or SUP. Going for walks, bike tours, or strolling through the town and enjoying the spring weather also puts you in a good mood.
Since we don't want to go straight home, we drive past Meran and spend another night at the Live Merano campsite.
The weather is just gorgeous, the sunniest day of the week!

Show newest firstWir starten unsere Ostertour in Neu-Ulm. Unser erster Stop ist Innsbruck.
Dort war auch in diesem Jahr unser Ziel der Wohnmobilstellplatz am Innrain. Wir waren schon sehr oft dort, aber dieses Mal war definitiv das letzte Mal. Zum einen wurde der Preis auf 22.- Euro erhöht, was ich ohne vorhandene Wohnmobil-Infrastruktur schon recht teuer finde. Was uns aber dann noch passiert ist, war sehr unverschämt. Vermutlich durch einen defekt, kam aus dem Parkscheinautomaten nur der Quittungsbeleg, aber kein Parkschein heraus. Wir dachten uns nichts dabei, da wir ja die Quittung und den Nachweis auf unserem Konto hatten (EC-Zahlung). Am nächsten Morgen kontrollierte uns eine sehr unfreundliche Dame und stellte uns trotz der Nachweise, einen 35.- Euro Strafzettel aus und unterstellte uns den Originalparkzettel an einen anderen Parker abgegeben zu haben, völlig absurd! Also Vorsicht, sonst wird das Parken teuer. Wir versuchen es das nächste Mal am Schwimmbad in Innsbruck.
Ansonsten war Innsbruck wieder sehr schön. Zum Abendessen waren wir im "Sitzwohl" wir waren dort schon oft, ist jedesmal sehr lecker und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
